Nareit’s John Jones, SVP of government relations, moderated a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation thought leadership panel on Sept. 13 as part of the organization’s annual legislative conference.

Nareit’s REITworks: 2024 Sustainability & Social Responsibility Conference, which took place along with the HR Forum, Sept. 10-12, 2024, convened more than 200 sustainability and social responsibility leaders outside of Washington, D.C. in McLean, Virginia.

Nareit’s HR Forum, which was held Sept. 10 in conjunction with Nareit’s REITworks: 2024 Sustainability & Social Responsibility Conference, convened more than 100 REIT social responsibility and human resources leaders in northern Virginia.

As a part of the kickoff of the REITworks 2024, Macerich invited attendees to join their property and sustainability teams for a tour of the Tysons Corner Center Campus.

Empify, a fintech company that helps underrepresented communities learn about finance and build wealth through investing, bestowed Nareit with its Innovation and Impact Award during Empify’s WealthBuilder Weekend Conference (WB Weekend).
