Nareit Hawaii presented a $30,000 grant to the Binhi At Ani Filipino Community Center to expand its Bayanihan Feeding Program.

The grant was supported by donations to the Nareit Foundation, a section 501(c)(3) charity.

Three Molokai families will see the quality of their living conditions improve dramatically due to a $75,000 grant awarded by the Nareit Hawaii Community Giving Initiative.

The grant will provide tablets and Chromebooks to 150 families free of charge for a one-year period, along with free broadband access.

Construction began last week on a new home by Honolulu Habitat for Humanity with the help of a Nareit Foundation donation.

The donation to the nonprofit will help expand its vaccination program on Oahu.

The funds will go toward supporting the construction of six new, affordable, single-family homes in the Waimanalo and Papakolea communities on Oahu.

The grant goes toward the purchase of a one-acre lot and construction of an affordable home for a family displaced by the 2018 Kilauea volcano eruption.
